Lake Region CityWatch now uses cell phones

Lake Region CityWatch serves the following Counties: Benson, Eddy, Nelson, Ramsey, Rolette, & Towner

This page is primarily for those people that do not have a land line phone. In order to use this website it is required that you enter a cell phone number. After you register your cell phone number you can also register for SMS/Text, and e-mail address with the Lake Region CityWatch notification system. The Lake Region CityWatch notification system will allow local city and county officials to notify the citizens and businesses of impending dangerous situations.

The notification will be sent out using a recorded voice message to land line and cell phones and a written message to e-mail and SMS/text devices. The system is also designed to make multiple attempts to connect with lines that are not answered or ring busy. If the call is picked up by an answering machine the system can be set up to leave or not leave the message based on the nature of the call.

DISCLAIMER:Lake Region CityWatch notification system is effective and efficient, but you should not rely on it exclusively. This system supplements, rather than replaces, other communication methods used by emergency responders, both in person and through the use of other media. Television, radio and county/city websites will continue to broadcast important announcements as well. Lake Region communications are dependent upon external providers such as your wireless carrier or e-mail delivery service. The Lake Region Communications Center cannot guarantee that notifications will be received by the intended recipient. Service costs from your carrier are your responsibility.

Sign up your phone number to get notifications in case of an emergency.
